Heehee this is too fun I had to share!

Dona and Pat got us this baby Einsteen jumperoo for the shower; I blogged about it awhile ago but Gabrielle was just new at it. And we didn't register for it, but Dona worked with a lot of ladies who were all having babies so she asked what they really loved. And so she and Pat got it for us and I am REALLY loving it too! I would say if you are looking for a fun shower gift not on the registry this is it!

I started putting her in there around 4 months old; she could play with the froggy and spin it and look in the mirror but that was about it. So now, when she even sees this thing, she gets so excited, starts moving her little legs and arms and makes all these noises to go in. She smiles and giggles too!

Okay so yesterday, I got a little 45 second video of Gabrielle in here. At the end, you'll see her with her little hand up 'counting' on her fingers. Mike has been doing that with her since she was a weeeeeee baby, counting to 5 on his fingers. She loves that and now she tries to do it too!

A few updates

I've been sick for almost 2 weeks so I'm a little behind on some updates.

Uncle Polski is doing much better and has been moved to the 5th floor in LHVH, he can have visitors so please do see him if you have some time.

Peter is also doing pretty well, recovering from his knee surgery. Mike saw him a few days ago and he's doing his Physical therapy and working on healing. If you would like to drop him a card, phone call or email let me know - I have his info.

Also, in case you didn't know, Matthew is deployed for 2 years now for training in a new unit he got into with the military. Right now he is at Ft. Bragg, so if you would like his email or mailing address, let me know and I can send that to you.

Guess who said MAMA today?

Yep my little girl! She was playing in her pack N play and was watching me thru the side, giggling. I looked over and said, hi baby girl and she said MAMA. I almost fell over but i heard it clear as day!

That picture is just getting ready to watch Sesemee Street. She gets so excited when we put it on in the morning - fine by me, it's a great show and i'm re-learning all the characters. Right now, I think she likes Elmo best :)

Family Visit this weekend

Diana and Faith came down this weekend for a visit - can you believe we didn't exchange Christmas gifts yet? With everyone getting sick at the holidays, our wonderful planned holiday didn't happen the way we wanted. But, for me, this was a wonderful weekend to celebrate - we got to catch up and it was girls-only :) SUCH FUN!

So, we exchanged gifts... we played alot, we watched a great movie Sat. night, we went to the mall, we made funky fun hats that match :) It was a great time. And Gabrielle is in love with her big cousin Faith. Heehee, here's our fun weekend:

I was looking for something on my computer this morning when I found a directory named "Jenna". WELL to my surprise there were all kinds of GREAT pictures from Jenna and Kody's wedding. I just went thru them and resized and am posting a ton here for you all to see. They are in no order except any with the beautiful bride are first. Family prayers needed

Most of you know that Uncle Polski was in a car accident a week ago; I spoke with Ginny this morning to get an update. He is still in the trauma unit at LVH, Cedar Crest. He's sedated and on the ventilator; he also developed pneumonia (but the nurses and dr's expected that because he's not moving or coughing, etc. yet). He's doing well and they do expect a full recovery!!!

As far as visiting, Ginny said that he's sedated; just to prepare you - he's got alot of wiring, bruising, stitches, etc. and he's not covered because they have to be monitoring him. Also, if there is any chance you could be sick - even a slight cold - that could give him a bad infection so please be aware of that. Also, there are no children permitted in the room. He's in room J-204 in the Trauma Unit.

Today Peter is having knee surgery at St. Luke's Hospital. PJ will give me an update on him later today - so i'll post when I get one.

Watch out Daisey!

I'm on the move Daisey, here I come.... heehee, I've been letting Gabrielle 'pet' Daisey our cat, supervised of course. She tries to grab the cat's fur, so I have to help her pet. Well now she is obsessed with wanting the cat. And the cat loves to be in her room with us so here's what happened yesterday.

Happy 7 months old - Gabrielle

I can't believe how quickly the time is flying by! Gabrielle turned 7 months old today and I am just amazed at how much she has changed. here she is just born and now today at 7 months old!

She's becoming a little girl in her features! YIKES! haha. Time does really fly by!
