Congratulations Peter & PJ who were married last Saturday Jan 17th!!

Well it's been a week since I started asking for pictures so I don't have any to show you of the wedding (I forgot my camera). If someone has pics and reads this, please email them to me so I can post some.

Gabrielle & I had a great time at the wedding - it was good to get out too. We got cooped up here at the house with the cold weather and all the 'stuff' going wrong at home. Here she is before we left, good thing for her closet full of cute dresses and clothes :) She was the belle of the ball for sure!! We both enjoyed being out and around everyone.

And finally!! Mike will be home in a few hours, I'm so relieved. I've missed him so much and I know traveling takes its toll on him too. Can't wait to see him!!

Those are lots of fun even with spit up on them after about 20 minutes. I DO have to tell you that she needs about 10 pictures to get one where she's not squirming, looking at the cat, blowing raspberries, playing with her feet or just moving and creating a blur effect. LOL

Belated Happy Birthday to Lauren!!!

I just wanted to wish Lauren a happy belated birthday - her birthday was LAST monday, oops. Like i said busy week :) But we wish you a very happy birthday and we love you so much!!!

I'm a slacker!!!

Ugh I hate that I haven't been here lately posting updates or pictures or ANYTHIng.
Mike left for 2 business trips - the first one he left Jan 5th, was gone all week; stopped home for a day and now is on the 2nd trip where he won't be home til this Friday or Saturday. Okay so that's really 3 weeks without him. And not to sound like a big ole baby but I DO miss my hubby when he's gone. And I know he misses us too but it's HARD. I shouldn't complain, one of my closest friend's husband is in Iraq until April or May. UGH that is hard!

For anyone who knows us long enough will know... as soon as he leaves, this house starts the 'consiracy' against me. Stuff ALWAYS happens, major stuff. Like running out of oil. Or the furnace breaking. Or a big 3 foot blizzard where the snowblower won't work. All sorts of fun!

Usually I do freak out a bit but I recover quickly and take care of things and move on. Well now that I am "mama bear" I get MORE freaked out than normal. Everything is now fine (well hopefully I can jump start the generator tomorrow); let me just say that. But we've had quite a week!!! I am hoping we can get back to normal and I get actually get some work done then play a bit and have FUN on here.

We have lots of fun things to update on!!! I'll be back tomorrow with at least one or two :)

My birthday fun

Saturday was my (eeeeeeek 38th) birthday, even tho I hate to admit my age.... I did have one of the best birthdays I can remember!! I got many 'gifts'!


I got to sleep in, Mike got up with Gabrielle.

Then I got some baby snuggles in bed, which was soooo fun!

As if that's not great enough, I also got breakfast served in bed.

I gifted myself with a good workout.

Then we got the gift of time from Denise, she babysat so we could enjoy a nice dinner out!

Mike made a yummy homemade ice cream cake with my favorite... chocolate peanut butter (so much for the workout!)

I got many phone calls, Im's, messages on facebook, emails wishing me a joyous day - I love every one of those!

And... I got some nice PJ's from my mom, new shoes from dad & Carol, a foot massager from Mike and a neat travel mug from Kimberly.

THEN (can you believe there's MORE?), today my friend Robin gifted me with a wonderful box of goodies - beautiful handmade cards, a cupcake pincushion, some cute tags, FABRIC (heehee), an address book she also made for me... I know I am forgetting somethings she sent.

What a special day I had, thank you everyone! Oh and of course here's some pic's - haha, the hairbow doesn't quite stay in! This is a cute Pooh outfit, courtesy of Aunt Diana. It's very comfy, I sure wish I had one ;)

More Christmas pictures

This is one of my favorites of Kimberly and Gabrielle. Heehee, love the Santa hats!

Waiting for Grandma and Grandpa to get here on Sunday.... I embroidered a little Christmas bug on her shirt for her. But it wasn't a comfy shirt, just to dress up in for a bit. And look, she's wearing shoes for the first time (they were off 2 minutes later, lol).

We had a great time with their visit... we always do :) I wish we lived closer!!!

We also really missed Diana, Elton, Faith & Lucas - who were also dealing with the kids being sick. We're going to celebrate with them real soon tho!

6 months old!!

Wow, okay where does the time go?? Gabrielle turned 6 months old today! Here's a picture of her this morning, smiling.

We have our 6 month checkup on Monday - she is getting soooo long, I am curious to see what they say for her weight/height. She's ready for a day with daddy today - Kimberly & I are hitting the mall!
